CableTruth 303T Toslink optical cable uses a specifically specified low-dispersion polymer fiber. This minimizes signal corruption and timing errors that occur when a normal fiber’s imperfections cause light to “scatter,” forcing the light signal to take multiple paths within each fiber. Each path has a slightly different length, introducing dispersion-over-time, causing partial misinterpretation of the digital data stream and inferior sound.
- Low-Dispersion Fiber Minimizes Digital-Timing Errors
- Polished Optical Interface Minimizes Light Dispersion
- Inner-Armor Layer Protects Optical Fiber
Note: These connectors are "keyed" and will only fit one way.
