Bowers & Wilkins Factory Certified Pre-owned Product sold by World Wide Stereo is guaranteed to perform “as new” and is backed by a one-year parts and labor warranty.
The PX headphones from Bowers & Wilkins feature 50 years of award-winning acoustic engineering in a pair of headphones so smart they respond intuitively to you.
B&W believes the PX set a new standard in noise cancelling: they've spent thousands of hours developing best-in-class noise-cancellation that doesn’t adversely affect sound quality. The PX line uses the latest aptX HD Bluetooth technology for the best possible wireless performance.
The driving force of PX is a pair of bespoke Bowers & Wilkins drive units derived from the reference P9 Signature headphone. A fully digital headphone, the PX use the latest aptX HD Bluetooth transmission system at 24-bit resolution for a stunningly accurate performance.
Intuitive User Experience
The PX use built-in sensors to enhance the way you instinctively use a set of headphones. Put them on your head and they’ll switch on: take them off and they’ll return to standby mode. Lift an earcup to talk or hang them round your neck and the PX will pause the music, resuming playback when you’re ready to listen. It’s as if the headphones are an extension of you, anticipating your needs.
The PX model’s active noise-cancelling signal has been painstakingly refined to block out ambient sound without affecting the listening experience. With three environment filters (Flight, City, and Office) controlled through the companion app, the PX always deliver optimum isolation, wherever you are.
Superior Comfort and Battery Life
The design and construction of the PX is lightweight but robust. They feature a lightweight frame combined with a ballistic nylon shell and beautifully soft leather ear cushions. The design also folds flat so the PX can slip easily into a slim bag, and with 22 hours of wireless listening from one charge, the PX won’t let you down.
The PX line is compatible with popular Bluetooth devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and computers.
The headset is solidly built and one can see the quality of materials and workmanship that has gone into making this a high end headset. In Bluetooth mode, music from the headset is crisp and clear. Can hear even the subtlest sounds without any distortions. Like the noise cancelling feature. I have a very loud fan running and in airplane noise canceling mode, the fan noise is very well cancelled out. Also like that I can connect to a PC using the USB cord, listen to music while charging the headset and also simultaneously being connected to the phone via Bluetooth and never miss a call.
Only downside so far has been the overall weight, which is on the slightly heavier side. Guess that is to be expected given the amount of metal used in this headset.
These are very comfortable, sound is very, very good. Would have given this 5 stars, but pairing with my Pixel phone after being turned off requires me to go into settings and re-connect. This should happen automatically like connecting to my car.
Great sound and fantastic looks. It seems we’ll build. The only problems are the app and how tight it fits. I had to side load the firmware from my computer directly to the headphones because the app would not do it. The headphones make a REALLY good seal over the ears but this only allows me to wear it for about 1 hour at a time. I have a big head but even my wife thinks they are a little tight. Luckily these are not my primary (or even secondary) over the war headphones. Overall, given the price though, these are great.
It's my first high(er) end name brand headphone I bought. I've never spent more than $50 for any headphones nor earphones. I'm so glad I got these. They sound superb crystal clear and good enough bass. I use them wired and wireless. No disappointment on either way. I definitely recommend these bad boys.
These headphones offer excellent sound quality right out of the box. Pairing it to my phone and Chromebook was easy, although it took several seconds for them to find the PX. I have not tried using the app, but it's not needed to use the headphones. I also haven't been able to put the noise cancellation to the test yet, but plan to on my next flight.
I have only 2 complaints about the PX. They feel a little heavy on the head. Also, the ear pads are slightly uncomfortable. The pads are not large enough to completely enclose my ear and end up putting pressure on my earlobes, which might be fine if the pads were softer (if your earlobes don't hang then this may be moot).
Wow. Soundstage is awesome and really sets the mood. It’s a bit uncomfortable compared to bose and sony but the sound and build quality really makes up to it. Also, it’s manufacture certified refurbished, so you get basically everything new for a lot less price.
Sounded good right out of the box. Needed firmware update right away. After update, sounded even better. Now after over a week and half the sound has really opened up. Takes me to a theater when watching a movie. Amazing product ??
I was surprised to find that the sound signature of these is relatively neutral, with little emphasis on the bass or treble. Unlike competitors like the Bose, Beats or Sony headphones, the PX has a less colored presentation.
