Customer Reviews for Bose SoundWear Companion Wearable Ear-Free Speaker (Black)
Recently I was driving our little old convertible with no radio, and thought I’d try this out. I can not believe how wonderful this sounds even over all the wind noise. Bike riders, rest assured, this is the product for you!!

The speaker phone is impeccable. No one really knows the difference and unlike a phone, it always stays at the same distance from your mouth so the other person can hear you clearly at all times.
I feel safe going for walks or riding my bike with it because I can hear traffic around me.
Love all our Bose products!
Just bought my husband the Bose Alto audio sunglasses for his birthday. Can’t wait to see his face when he gets them!
My draw back on them is that you can make calls, talk, listen to music, all those things are great qualities. The issue is that everyone can hear your music, and your conversations nothing private about these sound wear. You won't be able to wear them on a airplane and expect to enjoy the movies, music etc, etc..
This I consider part broken technology. Sure you can get Bluetooth headphones but the way they advertise they made these soundwear act like you have private conversations and private music listening, you may as well carry a large speaker around with you because nothing about these soundwear are private share with the world.. Fix this problem and you'll have some top notch all in one speakers.
Well, they're Bose, so you can expect great sound. But I like them for the following additional reasons:
--Very comfortable to wear; you don't even know they are on.
--You don't have to turn the volume up very loud to listen. This allows you to listen and not disturb others, while at the same time hear what's happening around you. (I wouldn't wear them in a public setting though.)
--Ease of use. They pair via Bluetooth very quickly and seamlessly on multiple devices at the same time. Just turn them on and your listening! Mine are paired with an iPad, iPhone and MacBook Air. There are no conflicts either; they pair with whatever device you are currently using.
--Long battery life. They also charge very quickly.
I live in a condo. The connection on these with any of my devices does not fade or break up anywhere in my unit.
While these may not be for everyone, I highly recommend you check these out at a Bose display near you. You'll be as impressed as I was.
