Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones Features:

Better by design

  • Bose completely redesigned our industry-leading headphones, with higher-quality materials and finishes. They're lightweight, and earcups rotate even more for a better fit. The headband sits closer to your head, with luxurious suede-like material underneath for extra comfort. If the AAA battery runs out, you can still enjoy music without noise reduction. And the earcups pivot to fit in a compact case that's easy to carry.

Less noise. More relaxing.

  • QC25 headphones let you focus on what matters—your music, movies and videos. And they reduce what you don't want to hear. Like a crowded city street. Cabin noise inside an airplane. Or a busy office. Advanced noise reduction technology and unique electronics make it happen. Even the ear cushions give you an extra level of quiet by sealing out some of the world around you.

True to life sound

  • Many of Bose’s engineers are also musicians, with a passion for music. So when you wear these headphones, you'll hear ringing guitars. Soaring vocals as the chorus kicks in. Deep bass and crisp drums drive the beat forward. Bose Active EQ and TriPort technology deliver performance so compelling, you'll want to listen for hours. And the fit's designed so you can.

You're in control

  • Bose’s noise cancelling headphones are designed specifically for use with select iPod, iPhone and iPad models, so the inline microphone/remote puts music and call controls at your fingertips. Many features are also compatible with today's most popular phones.

Your sound, your look

  • Declare your style by customizing your very own QC25 headphones. Whatever your inspiration—alma mater, sports team—the color combinations are virtually limitless and customized with ColorWare. Choose from 52 vibrant colors to customize 9 separate headphone elements in matte or gloss finish.
  • And rest assured, your customized QC25 headphones will look as good as they sound for years. They boast a durable finish with a great focus on detail. Superior painting techniques with automotive-grade paint have passed the toughest Bose environmental tests.

Great sound 3 month life
I received a pair for Christmas last year and used them for the London commute. Noise cancelling works a treat and the sound quality is top grade... BUT, within 3 months the right cup just stopped working. It happened in the space of 30 mins with no knocks at all. Sent them back in March and got a new pair. Coming home from commute and 3 months later, it happens again. No knocks, scrapes or damage. Even avoided folding them to make sure wires weren't stressed. Major flaw in the architecture of the design I'd imagine, so stay clear until it's resolved. Wish I had got another pair : |

Now, I was at first a bit hesitant to spend this much money on a pair of headphones as I had never really spent over £160 on a single pair of headphones. In the end as you have probably already guessed I ended up purchasing these truly amazing headphones. Honestly I listen to songs and I hear things I didn’t even know were there before. These headphones have an amazing way of making you feel as though you’re actually in the room with band-orchestra. Firstly, vocals blow you away. At times higher pitched singers can be a bit uncomfortable on louder settings but trust me, these headphones play notes just as well if not better than the musician intended. Now, what I’m sure most of you want to know is how good the sound cancelling actually is? Well, I shall simply say… I have never had a more relaxing experience on train, sitting in the back of a car or sitting in a noisy environment. However, don’t purchase these headphones expecting them to cancel out voices and loud speakers of such, yes they will cancel the noise out to a degree but these headphones are not designed to cancel voices. Now, how long can you wear these headphones before your ears become sore? Hot? The simple answer is I can happily wear these to up to about 17 hours before I need to even consider taking them off. They allow your ears to breath and have just the right amount of applied pressure to make sure they stay firmly on your head but not too much that you constantly notice them. Fortunately the bass on these headphones has lived up too Bose ‘base supremacy’ in the audio industry at times I have found myself with my mouth wide open at the power and perfect delivery, and sometimes I have even so caught up in the beauty of the sound quality I break into a full dance. When I put these headphones on everything around me just drops away and its just me, my work and my music. Cons: I have noticed a fair bit of sound leaks (when people around you can also hear you music) which in my personal opinion leads to restrictions on the use of the headphones out In public. Also, the silver casing on the sides of the black & blue version is hollow. Unfortunately, I put my chord in the wrong way and zipped my case up only to latter discover I have dented the sides around my noise cancelling switch (This has annoyed me a fair bit as now the actual use of the switch has become far rougher and stiff) I’m not sure if this was just to bring the cost of producing the product down or just a poorly thought out design issue (which I’m pretty sure its not as Bose have been known to look over every tiny detail in ridiculous amounts of detail) but none the less annoys me. Other than that I would 100% recommend these headphones to anyone, weather you love deep bass, high acoustics or awesome guitar solos these are definitely the headphones for you! The price you might think is a bit much but they are well worth every penny! I bought mine from John Lewis as I wanted to pick them up and try them on but I’m sure online purchase will work just fine. Again awesome pair of headphones well worth it!

Great noise canceling feature. Horrible build quality
I really wish that Bose would put some effort into building a quality pair of headphones. I have had to return my QC25 headphones twice because the noise canceling feature stopped working.

I am still under the 1 year warranty but it's worrisome that they have had to replace two pairs of headphones with the same problem. For such an expensive pair of headphones I would expect them to last more than a couple of months.

The good news is that when they work they are really great. They do a wonderful job of canceling out the train noise from my commute. And on a long haul flight they are essential travel gear.

I am now again waiting for Bose to fix my headphones and it's amazing how loud the city is without them.

When they work they are incredible but it's frustrating dealing with sloppy quality control issues.

Great Headphones
I am a very loyal Bose customer.I have a docking station,Computer speakers, ear buds and I have a pair of OE's I bought 7 yrs ago and they still work perfectly I just needed something to drown out the loudness of the commuter train.I was torn between these and going wireless. If wireless had noise cancelling I would have went that way but since they don't I went with the 25's and it was a great decision. It still has the great Bose sound quality and with the noise cancelling you don't have to turn the music up very loud to enjoy it.My only gripe is the cord is way to long. Most folks who use these are commuters and the cord gets tangled way too easily and gets caught on various objects way too easy. You may want to think about shortening the cord.Other than that, one of the best purchases I made in a long time. Now Bose, make some wireless noise cancelers and I'll really be happy!

Great for College Students As Well
Easy to use and great sound quality. It enabled me to study in places where it is not completely quiet, by simply putting on the headphone with noise cancelling or listening to instrumental music. It really helped to focus on studying and mindless tasks.

Pricey but worth it
Bough a pair a year ago. Use them primarily to listen to music on the plane but also for conference calls. Great noise cancelling (best of any product I've used), good sound quality. Very comfortable. Battery life seems better than advertised. My last pair were stolen and I immediately replaced them.

Right speaker stop working
I've had my QC25 for about 18month but only use them when traveling out of Afghanistan to California. All of a sudden the right speaker stops working unless a touch it just right and then I can hear audio out of it. I was in a bind on my trip home so I brought some QC35 instead of Beats. I really like them but I still prefer the battery capacity of the QC25 and want to know how to get them repaired.
