Maximize the superb graphics capability of your Nintendo Wii™ using the GameQuest-300W cable. This all-in-one assembly includes both component video and stereo audio cables.
Superior conducting materials ensure less distortion and superior picture and sound. Attention to insulating materials also minimizes distortion and ensures stable characteristic impedance. Superior shielding protects the all-important gaming signals from outside EMI interference. These ingredients and more help guarantee signal integrity all the way through your system.
Solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) Conductors:
Solid conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion. GQ-300W’s solid Long-Grain Copper allows a smoother and clearer sound than cables using regular OFHC (Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity) copper. OFHC is a general metal industry specification regarding “loss” without any concern for distortion. LGC has fewer oxides within the conducting material, less impurities, less grain boundaries, and definitively better performance.
Nitrogen-Injected Hard-Cell Foam Insulation:
Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation, circuit board materials all absorb energy (loss). Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. Nitrogen-Injected Hard-Cell Foam insulation ensures critical signal-pair geometry while minimizing insulation induced phase distortion.
Shield Coverage (Foil and Braid):
Shielding always plays an important role in any cable design, but the shield on coax interconnect plays an especially important role because it functions not only as a shield but return path as well. Because of this, AudioQuest pays special attention to the shield’s metal quality and the fabrication technique as this will affect both the sound and the picture.
