Is this system plug and play? Do I need any accessories like an amplifier or counter weights? Also will this system play 180g records well?

Thanks for your inquiry. The SpinStand Audio Component & Record Rack is designed to accommodate the Spindeck Plug-and-Play Turntable and SpinBase Turntable Speaker System which would comprise the complete system. The turntable will accommodate 180g records.
