I have spent a lot of time exploring the different features of the new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC Earbuds and the Klipsch Connect app through extensive testing from streaming music, watching videos, and making phone calls—connected with Bluetooth 5.0. I was able to really experience the upgraded capabilities that the Dirac HD Sound plays when appreciating some of my favorite tunes.

Optimized Audio with Dirac HD Sound

The T5 II ANC earbuds are the first true wireless earbuds to be integrated with the audio optimization software brought to you by Dirac. The Dirac HD Sound allows Klipsch to create a substantial sounding earbud that can focus on high-quality music, active noise cancellation, and transparent phone calls. The Dirac HD Sound can account for your ears' natural resonance when optimizing and it will also compensate the EQ and impulse response. This will create a broad soundstage, clear vocals, and a tightened bass response.

Klipsch gives you the ability to turn off this feature, and you will immediately notice how much you lose when you do. The music is no longer harmonious, the vocals become hollow and overtaken by bass.

I recommend you do it once to see how it sounds but then turn it back on. There’s no reason to listen to “ok” audio when you can have such a more significant experience with it on.

Comfort For The Long Haul

After a compelling audio experience, Klipsch focused on comfort with the T5 II True Wireless ANC earbuds. They were redesigned from their predecessor to sit even more securely in your ear, and with their patented oval ear tips, they can make a firm seal allowing better bass response and clear dynamic audio.

It’s easy to wear the T5 II ANCs all-day long without feeling the strain or fatigue other earbuds may cause. Whether you’re traveling across the country or in all-day virtual meetings, you won’t wear them out before the 7-hour charge does.

Active Noise Cancellation

With the use of dual beam forming technology, Klipsch can reduce external noise at a greater rate in the low/mid-range frequencies than standard Active Noise Cancellation. The use of a feedforward (listening to your environment) and feedback (listening to what you hear) microphones allow for a more substantial reduction of unwanted sound. This will eliminate the more distracting clamor of your environment and lets you hear what you want to hear. If your computer fan runs loudly in your office, the earbuds will make it disappear.

I was very astonished how much my vacuum noise disappeared and no longer drowned out the music I wanted to enjoy while doing housework. My music wasn’t second to the noise but was up front and pushing it away.

A Clear Voice for Clear Calls

The T5 II ANCs focus on your voice when Transparency Mode is activated. Unlike other Active Noise Canceling earbuds, you can adjust these to amplify your voice when on a call, so you know how clear you sound. This feature allows you to speak more comfortably and naturally.

I have Transparency Mode on every time I take a call because it makes such a demonstrable difference and I feel more comfortable knowing what I’m saying is understandable.

Ready for the Future

Integrated with the Bragi Operating System, the T5 II ANC True Wireless Earphones improved their experience by allowing Klipsch to focus on what they felt was important, a fast Bluetooth connection, active noise cancelation, gesture integration, automation, and the ability to grow.

Using the Klipsch Connect app and integrated Bragi OS, you can customize how button presses will react and setup “Side Kicks” that allow for activities to be matched with functions. I setup the earbuds to have transparency turn on when phone calls are received, so I don’t have to cycle the modes whenever I get a phone call. This is a small convenience and one that pays off daily.

With the Klipsch Connect app the firmware updates will allow these headphones to receive new enhancements after purchase so they can expand their experience.

Klipsch has produced the next generation of True Wireless earphones. The T5 II ANCs offer long battery life, clear audio for music or calls, and will allow for future improvements.
