Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC Turntable Product Review
Welcome to the analog revolution. We're thrilled to see vinyl is all the rage again, but we can't say we're completely surprised. When you want the best sound possible, it doesn't get better than vinyl.
Of course, the only way to get the most out of your records is with the right gear. One of our favorite best-selling turntables? The Pro-Ject Carbon DC Turntable. With a light, carbon fiber tonearm, it's built to prevent vibrations from interrupting the pure sound of your vinyls. This Pro-Ject turntable also comes with an Ortofon cartridge and its own power supply to ensure your records spin exactly 33 or 45 times per minute — a feature I really like to see.

Hi everyone, it's Adam from World Wide Stereo here showing you the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC Turntable. Coming in at $399, it’s one of our most popular selling turntables. What makes this turntable special is — like the name Carbon — it actually comes with a carbon fiber tonearm, which is great. It's very, very light, and it doesn't allow for any type of vibrations to come into it. The table itself comes in an assortment of colors, is belt-driven and not direct-drive.
Every Pro-Ject Debut Carbon will come with an Ortofon 2M red cartridge. It's a nice moving-magnet cartridge (fantastic cartridge) that will make your record sound great.
Another thing that makes this turntable special is the power supply. Kind of acts like an outboard speed box to help to make sure that the record spins at exactly 33 or 45. So, nice feature for this turntable.
On the back, you'll find standard audio outputs with a ground cable. This turntable does not come with a built-in phono preamp, so you'll need either to have an external one or a phono input on your audio equipment. On the back, you'll find the adjustable tracking force weight and the post for the anti-skating weight. This makes sure that you're tracking your record perfectly.
If you have any questions at all about turntable setup, or you'd like to purchase the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon, please come on into one of our showrooms, or click here to shop online.
